This might be best placed in Savings&Investments but given the situation here goes...
Partner has just completed on her house sale (hurrah). She now has £50k (that she made from the sale). £45k of this will be going towards our purchase but that won't be for ~4 weeks. How best to maximise the interest but still be able to get instant access for the purposes of our purchase?

Halifax Web Saver Extra
Permitted one withdrawl without closure, 6+%. Used it to keep my deposit & house funds, closed via withdraw and interest arrived at the same time.
