What's the cash reward card from Nationwide? Is this a new type of current account?

No, its a credit card actually. No longer available to new customers tho. Used to pay one of the best cash-back rates on the market about 5 years ago... think it was 1 or 2 percent maybe. Not sure what it pays in cash back now.... maybe 0.25%... but you dont get it on overseas purchases anyway.

I have a draw full of old expired cards somewhere.... old style lloyds tsb, nationwide etc

  • What's this about the old VISA logo being illegal? My Halifax Classic VISA credit card was replaced in November 07 and I was expecting the new VISA logo on it but it still has the old logo.

LOL, knew someone would ask for to prove that statement and sods law, I cannot find where I read it...... its something to do with post vesting rules but can't exactly remember where I found it - grrrrr

I'm not saying the logo is illegal, but after a company changes its corporate logo or name under post vest rules they cannot revert back to the old stationary etc after a set period. This is the bit i'm referring to - for example the visa logo on the N&P card is the old 'Barclaycard' visa logo, made from the old barclaycard dominance days and they wanted to remove the flag element thus the new design......

anyway, don't dwell on anything til I post the article I read lol
