Lighten up guys . The local elections are coming up thats the time and place for questions on traffic zones. Have you questioned your local councillor ? Have you attended any planning policy meetings ? Have you bothered to vote in these local elections ?These are open forums for debt . I understand that someone maybe worried that the value of there home may go down because theres no parking . And that they may not be able to park outside the paper shop or may have to walk more than 40 yards when dropping the kids off.
If people are so concerned with these issues , stand for election ,organize protests , lobby your councillors . sorry if I offended anyone , I lived in london for awhile and zone charging is a money making scam that funds local govenment . I SAY TAX THE RICH NOT THE WORKING CLASS !

At the moment it appears that it is a suggestion not written in Stone.

A £2 charge when you drive into the city centre and £2 when you drive out.

It won't affect me, we use the bus to go into the City, yes I do live in Leicester, we cannot afford the carpark fees and get free bus travel, so stupid to take the car in.
