Advice please on CA, in case I'm doing it wrong.

Good afternoon, I'd like some advice please, I receive carers allowance over my teenage daughter, her care is mainly at night time and she gets DLA for herself so what I'd like to know is if what I am getting is correct, I receive

for caring for her, 48.65
for a person/partner looking after children 29.05
each child 11.35

total 89.05

It also says "I can earn upto £87.00 per week after taking off certain expenses before carers allowance is affected & that if my partner earns more than £180.00 each week after certain expenses they will not pay the extra carer's allowance for first child & for every £24.00 they earn each week over this amount they will not be able to pay the extra carers allwance for a further child"

can anyone confirm that I am not being paid too much ( worried if been paid too much will have to pay it back & if I ask the dhss they will think we don't need it)

We also get working family tax credit, my partner gets the extra amount because he works over 30 hours, he is self employed and the business is not making much at the moment so we get the maximum family tax credit and I declare my carers allowance as an income.

So what I am basically trying to find out is what we are claiming correct?

am I doing it all correctly?
If my daughter wanted to get a part time job can she or will this affect my carers allowance?
Can I do any part time work while she is at school?

any advice would be great.
