    hi does going bankrupt affect everything i cannot find any info on how it will affecy my car insurance sky tv internet and mobile phone contract can anybody shead any light? many thanks

    Hi and welcome from me. If there are arrears on any utility bills then it may affect them. If you have got arrears i would try your hardest to get them back up to date asap.Forget your creditors the utilities and rent are more important.

    Hi i have just been informed my car is almost dead :mad: great all i need on top of everything that's going on at the moment, a family member has sugested that i get a cheap one before i go bankrupt as i will not be able to get one after, but can anybody help or advise me if i managed to get any sort of a car will the car be repossesed when i go bankrupt do i have to pay a certain amount before this is not repossesed. totally don't know what to do, have a family of three and need a good car as will not get one over the next 5 years, don't want to gat what i can out of this just want to look after my family any help many thanks

    hi and welcome. Your hoe should be safe as the council dont usually care as long as your rents uptodate. I informed our council but they werent realy interested. A BR only usually lasts for 12 months, so its not particually a long time. Not sure about having 2 cars - they usually like you to have just 1 if possible.

    After youve gone BR you could get another car or if your worried the OR might like a sniff at it get a family member to put it in their name.

    There are lots of us on here that are or have been BR, so you wont be alone in sorting your problems out. Family and health should always come first.
