Why no picture

For some reason when I'm trying to insert this picture it's coming up as a link not a picture. I click on the yellow picture icon that is on the toolbar when posting and insert the link like this 
and the picture appears. Then I submit the message and only a link appears. See this post. For some reason though on here the picture appears initially then disappears???
