£4 on food at work today, and three £2s into the terramundi, so a spend total of £10 today.... and its pay day tomorrow

This thread seems to be getting quieter and quieter which I assume is a good sign! I've got a HUGE spend today on MOT and all the rest. It will not be pretty, so there's no way I can justify any other spending today!
Poorbutrich, so is the weekly challenge, seems like no one wants to be involved in it

:cheesy: ahem, excuse me all. I am a lurker on the DFW boad, as I am DF, but like to read your tips. :embarasse For many months I have puzzled over Paps/Moozies - what does it mean?
yeah, I know it's going to be something so obvious ....
Moozie is the original founder of this thread (eons ago). She kept, with the help of PostingAlwaysPosting (affectionately known as PaP) the thread going on a daily basis. The thread was a lighthearted way at tackling the very serious subject of keeping your daily spends under control - I suppose it's a way of saying 'look after the pennies etc..'.
The thread went from strength to strength and many posters, myself included, found it to be an extremely useful tool to control our daily budgetting and spending.
Anyway, after succesfully dealing with a 'mountain' of her own debt, moozie drifted away, leaving the thread in the capable hands of PaP, who, with the help of a few of the 'regulars' have managed to keep the ethos of 'the thread' going.
It is surprising how your daily spends look, once you have actually written them down, and it's equally surprising how, with the help of this thread, you can actually keep that spending to a minimum.
We still remember 'moozie' with her 'old cow' avatar, as a shining example to us all, and she occasionally pops in to see that we are all 'keeping it low' (her famous catchphrase). So it is right, and proper, that she is 'remembered' in the title of her thread.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.
