Multi Fuel Stoves(Fires)

Hi i am thinking of buying one of these ,are they easy to fit?i already have a flue because i have an open fire which is not in use,dont have a clue what kw i would need so any advice would be good and any idea of the cost of these please.

Multi-fuel stoves can cost from about £500 and above. If your existing flue is suitable then all well and good, if not a new flue will cost you another £300. Fitting should be done by a HETAS registered fitter which will cost £300+ if a new flue is required, much less if the existing flue is suitable.
As to Kw, it depends how big your room is.0 -

MachineMart also sell them...but you probably need a local HEATAS supplier/fitter who will visit and quote.
Deduct the price of the stove from his bill you will get an idea of his labour charge.
Wood burning stoves are cheaper than multifuel, burn a different way.Minimum from what I have read is 4kw.0
