OH has been with Abbey 6 months. It is a very basic system, which is a plus so a dawdle to use. Posting the cheques seems to work quicker then depositing them at an Abbey branch machine. Clearing does seem to take a while, but thats standard on business accounts. He checks it every days takes minutes , it is a very basic account and so far been easy and time saving. Dont normally recommend banks only drawback charge of £50 for overdraft so keep in credit . The reserve account is handy for saving for the tax man.0

Another thums up for Abbey from me, I have been with them for 4 years after ditching HSBC and their high charges, the only thing it took me time to get used to was the fact that you HAVE to use instore ATMs to deposit but then again most high street banks are doing this now.
I do sometimes find their callcentre in Scotland to be a bit unprofessional and requesting stationery is always hit and miss.
However I do use the geographic number of 01908 237 968 to counteract the 0845.
All in all a good service for freeMy Shop Is Your Shop0 -
If you want an Abbey Business account, these guys appear to be offering £20 cashback:

If only I had read this some time ago.......
My abbey business account just got hit the same way.
It 'appears' that they logged on my account and knew the maximum daily transfer accounts, transferred between one account and another and then made two payments to individuals. This whole thing suggests something deeper than just getting my logon credentials!
Abbey suggested that I had an infected PC however, again, I am in IT security and am paranoid about these things and can find no evidence of anything amiss.
When this is resolved (fingers crossed), I will be looking for either a bank with two-factor authentication ( EMV card or digi-cert) or one that only prompts you for a few characters from pass-phrases
