True HotLondon. My comments were intended to show that although these sites can give you more options, you should never ignore the obvious/direct, but this is another valid point to take on board.

I watched on wednesday but was dissapointed with the chicco bit. Before you ask, no i am not a chicco fan, but i do like the celebrity wallet bit each week, even if its only to go, wow-they spend £30k on the credit card a year on odds and ends, and i could only dream of earning that in a year...!!!!!!!!

It just seemed pointless to include chicco, as there was no real info there, (noted what you said earlier martin) so was just a waste of time-was like listening to a version of heat magazine telling me about chicco's life, not about his spending/saving etc. Maybe the researchers need to establish whether the celebrity booked actually knows anything about their finances before booking them?

Think the cashback bits would have really been well understood by those who haven't previously used them-my hubby certainly appeared knowledgable after watching it!!
Mortgage free 04/03/2025. Thanks to this site and lots of overpayments bit by bit.
Next stop: house repairs, holiday fund, replace our very old cars, more financial security/early retirement savings.🤞

On the show on Wednesday, during the cashback sites feature, Martin asked a guy in the audience if he made money by clicking on things on these cashback sites, the guy in audience said he did it every day. Martin then said to camera go check our website.
I have had a look at It pays to watch website and played the video and i still cant find this part of the show on the site, can anyone tell me where it is?

Until Martin introduced Chico, I didn't know who he was! (Sorry, but I don't watch X Factor or reality/talent shows on TV - I'd rather watch my MacGyver DVD boxsets.)

Another thing Martin could have mentioned was mysupermarket, the comparison site for food shopping online, which compares the prices of your online shop. I've found it very useful myself, and saved quite a lot of money at the end of the shop by doing some swaps. You also get rewarded ipoints for how much money you spend. Time probably didn't permit any more though.

I'm so pleased to see that this is going to be featured in this weeks IPTW...:j

Martin really does take our views on board... I knew he did anyway.

    Bless him... ;)
