Heritable Bank - who owns them

I am opening a saving account (1 year fixed) with Heritable savings bank but just want to double check who own them. Perhaps I am being over cautious, but I have placed £33K (plus interest to be earnt with HBOS) and want to place a similar amount with this bank. Just want to double check ownership just incase things go wrong and I can claim all may money back. Thanks

But they are separately registered under the FSCS.
So you would get up to the £35,000 limit covered for your Heritable Bank savings, even if you also had money deposited with Landsbanki in an Icesave account.Imprudent granting of credit is bound to prove just as ruinous to a bank as to any other merchant.
