I have a Goodmans DAB radio which is 15 months old.
Last week, it simply said, 'Station not available' and I have not been able to get a sound of any kind out of it since.
I have pressed every button, tried the wire aerial in a new position, but nothing happens, the clock still works!
Anyone has a similar experience, please?

Sorry, I have no direct experience of this model, but have you tried re-scanning the tuning - there is usually a button/menu option to re-scan. Also, have you tried a different station - haven't some stations just closed down?
Failing that, try it in a different location - upstairs, different side of the house, etc. If you get a signal, you will at least know it is working.
Hope that helps,
Regards,

Thanks, White, I've tried re-tuning and everything, I have not moved the radio to another room as I only use this as my bedside cabinet and wouln't use it anywhere else.
When I first bought this, I had a fault with it after four months and Argos said they do not bother repairing them, they replace instead, obviously cost nothing to make..Filiss0 -
A few months ago, I too bought a DAB radio for my wife, she now tells me that some of the stations are no longer available. Should we return it to Tesco? This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

Yeah, what is it with DAB radios? I bought my hubby quite an expensive portable Roberts DAB 'sports' radio for his birthday yesterday - specifically so he could listen to Radio 4 on the move. In turns out where we are there is a very weak signal to Radio 4! Grrr!I don't want to make money, I just want to be wonderfulMarilyn Monroe0

Some digital radio stations have stopped broadcasting this year.
Could it be that yours is one of them?
5 or 6 stations gone in the first quarter of 2008. Is this the start of a trend?

If my DAB runs out of battery power it loses the stations. When replacing the batteries it always needs rescanning. The signal is so bad where I live that it depends where I am in the house as to what stations the rescan actually picks up."...IT'S FRUITY!"0

No, no stations at all. nothing!
I know that DAB has not been too popular and some are not broadcasting in digital any more, but I wonder if its worth buying a new one.Filiss0 -
type into google, goodmans dab radio fails to emit sound or something similar to the problem you are having, you will find that chances are someone else somewhere has had the same problem and there will be answer, normally on a forum that will be listed on the google result page.
