Stainless Steel Splashback - How to Cut?

Hey peeps

I recently ordered a Stainless Steel Splashback but when it came it is about 10cm too big.

I would like to get it cut locally (I live near Heathrow).

Can anyone advise me of someone they might know in and around this area

OR

the type of companies I could possibly ring up and ask

Thanks

  • hi,

engineering firms or steel stockists, a guillotine will cut it for fun!
  • Look for steel fabricators in your area. I recently had a large steel splash back custom made and cut for £100.

Yes, guillotine is the best tool for this job, but instead of spending time on looking for guillotine I'd do it myself with this tool:

I think this will not take more than 30 minutes ....
P.S. Near the edges it is better to use usual hacksaw with blade for metal: p1596964_s.jpg
