Barclaycard online payments

For anyone who pays their Barclaycard bill online using the Barclaycard website....
They have made a sneaky change to the payment page. In the past, you had three options on how much to pay; either minimum payment, the statement balance or any other specified amount. So I would always 'click' on the 'statement balance' option which allowed me to pay off the balance as shown on the paper statement as posted to me.
Now they have changed this option to pay the full outstanding balance. This includes any transactions that have occurred since the statement date, which would appear on the following month's statement and would get a month's interest free credit. So simply clicking on this option means that you are paying for these transactions immediately and losing the interest free period.
Therefore, you have to click on the 'other amount' option and enter the statement balance in the amount box.
Since Barclaycard stopped giving Nectar points I use a different card for nearly all of my purchases but have a couple of small regular payments still going on the Barclaycard, always paying the statement in full each month.
