new bt connection?

i hope someone can help me as i have a bt connetcion tommorow morning.
the thing is that i just recieved my bt contract details today and the monthly payment plan is wrong and not what i have agreed to.
can someone tell me how long i have to change this motlhy payment plan as my connection to bt goes live on thursday. the amount theya re looking for is £25 a month for 12 months but i did not agree to this a si had agreed to £11.75 for thed iscounted option2 servcie and that was it? how long do i have to get this changed as i have sent an email through the complaints email?

Ring them up about this. There aren't any £25/month tariffs for line rental. It looks a clerical error - or more sinister, it looks like a broadband tariff.0

Have you chosen to spread the connection charge over your first 4 quarterly bills? That would explain the £25. The MPP system bases a lot of the recommendations it gives on predicted usage for the coming months, if there's no usage to go on maybe it defaults to £10 a month for calls for example.
Your direct debit is not linked to your contract for BT service. You can cancel your direct debit at any time.
Just need to make that clear. You should be able to phone the billing department and discuss why your MPP is that high and what they can bring it down to for you. Failing that, you could always switch to WBDD (Whole Bill Direct Debit) and either have your whole monthly or quarterly usage and service costs debited rather than an estimated amount if the MPP isn't to your liking.0 -
