Got an email from maplin,
They are offering this great unit for only £199 and I think its free delivery.
Hi my name is Sarah, I am the Internet Co-ordinator for this weeks newsletter. I'd like to bring to your attention this new and exciting product, Garmin StreetPilot i3.
Maplin will be the first UK supplier to stock the SteetPilot i3 GPS and is an amazing price of £199.99 (i3 only). This Garmin GPS combines all the benefits of the more expensive competitor products but has the Garmin user friendly ease of use reputation, quality and best of all its nearly half the price. Beat the queue and order yours now.
Full Postcode Search Enabled
No larger than a cricket ball, the StreetPilot i-series is destined to be a hit for commuters, college students, and corporate travellers who are looking to experience the ease and enjoyment of GPS satellite navigation for the first time.
But don't let its size fool you, the StreetPilot i3 has many of the same powerful capabilities as other premium automotive GPS navigators. It automatically reroutes your course if you happen to miss a turn, and it allows you to add custom points of interest, such as safety cameras and school zones, from third parties.

£2 of a >£10 order
£10 of a >£100 order
and I think £30 off a >£300
The vouchers are emailed when you sign up to their email alerts.
You also get some if you order and then cancel the checkout at the last minute. These are customer specfic so you need ones for your account at Maplin.

They do not have all the bells and whistles of TomTom, but it gets you from A to B.
That is what I read on another forum.
I have TomTom on my phone and on PDA, and prefer the mobile phone version as I do not have to have another gadget with me.0 -

They don't have touchscreen ASAIK, which is a fairly big part of a decent GPS. It's a good price, however you could get a £200 palm + GPS for the same price...see the other thread above for more details0
