windows update repeat?

a couple of weeks ago there was an optional update for nevidia geforce in windows update so i installed it. afterwards i remembered that a few weeks earlier i might have installed an update then for the same thing. i am now getting offered another optional update for the same thing. in both this case and the last one the size is 50.5mb and they were all published on 4/10/07. so what is happening? am i getting offered the same thing again and again? what should i do? ignore them? if i keep being offered an update that i already have should i do something about it? or could the current one be another part and therefore should i install it?

Have a look in c:\windows\WindowsUpdate.log and look for any error messages associated with the install of the Nvidia drivers

i looked there and it might as well be in chinese. however when i install updates it usually says whether it was successful or not. so i dont think its a case of being offered it again because it failed previously.
