Saving for a house

Hi everybody
Seriously need some advice here. Wanted to contact Martin Lewis himself but I don't think this is possible.
My husband and I are looking to buy our first house this year. Money experts have said that first-time buyers, or anyone in fact should wait to buy for a few months.
While we do this, we would like to save for our deposit and eventual monthly mortgage payouts.
We both have ISA's and I have an online savings account also but we need an account that allows joint access and monthly debits for the mortgage.
Can anybody give me advice on accounts or what to do?
Thank you so much:D
