greetings techies, happy computing.
on-line anti-virus offered by panda is corrupt, I started downloading active sync 2.0 online scanner,it got as far as 95% download when my avast anti virus alerted me to a rootkit with in active sync, even though i stopped the download it still put some files on my system. I deleted the found rootkit and then spent 5hours scanning my system for more but none found, that was sunday, monday whilst cleaning up my system my anti-virus actived again the same threat was found inside the active sync software files loaded on system again deleted the infection which was win32:ctx. due this tried to put my system back to a uncorrupted operating system this time my anti-spyware webroot alerted me to an attempted attack on my computer by a backdoor trojan Zubox, also infection found inside hewlett packard software. i have now managed to delete all software relating to HP, also pc booster was infected so that had to go. my system seems to be clear now. so be careful when downloading software from the web even truste sites like panda. my computer has the following security installed. comodo firewall pro+ malware detector free edition, avast 4 home anti virus. webroot anti-spyware. online scanner used F-secure. security is a necessity in todays climate, so is regular scans.

Are you sure it wasn't just a false positive. One AV system picking up another? Sounds like that to me.
By the way, you should consider using paragraphs in future, that chunk of text is a nightmare to read!
