in Credit cards
Apologies if this question has been asked before but, i currently have a virgin credit card which has 0% on purchases untill June 08.
If i purchased something for x amount but was unable to pay it off until after June does the balance outstanding on the card get converted to the standard APR or does it remain intrest free untill paid off?
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Once the promotional period has expired, all the outstanding balance will revert to the standard variable rate for the particular card.
It would be nice if it stayed at 0% but I don't think the Credit Card companies would make much profit on that.0 -
The MBNA run cards e.g. your Virgin have a reputation for hiking up the interest rate as well so they will probably try to sting you on that.
Loads of posts from their customers on these boards.I beep for Robins - Beep Beep

Capital One Platinum is a touch longer at 13 months (if you meet their "excellent credit rating" criteria?)...derrenbobafat wrote: »Thanks for the advice i will look into getting an HSBC card then as they seem to have the longest 0% on purchase deals
