I think Ember's thread too. It really shows the strength of the site. Since I joined I've not only saved a LOT of money, but changed how I look at lots of things. There's a fantastic support network here and Ember's thread highlights that.

Not only that, but it was a reminder to all of us not to forget to take preventative action. (Self examination etc.)

I'd like to suggest Ember's post as well. It is proof that there is real strength on this site and support in many ways. We are a real community and Ember's obvious distress and then joyous relief brought tears to my eyes. Please let the charity have the money.

Embers post has my vote... can honestly say for the first time ever I checked my own after reading it... but IMO Ember should have the award.. she deserves a nice treat after the month she's had... What a woman for highlighting the importance of checking.. :T
