I buy most of my shoes from there! £4 for a pair of work shoes that i walk on for hours on end and they last me months and months. Think ive had this pair for well over 6 months now. To me, that is excellent value for money.
I bought some for £65 the other month. Wore them at work and had to take them off. Theyre sat in the cupboard now never to be worn again!
Ive got handbags and stuff that have all lasted well. I dont think primark would have such a following if the stuff you bought fell apart after a day or two0 -
i have some towels from debenhams which i bought three years ago which have fallen apart and frayed around the edges . i dare say if i had got them from primark or matalan i would have accepted it but not from debenhams where the bath sheet cost 14 quid.the way i see it big stores like marks and debenhams no longer can claim their goods are better than cheaper stores anymore 9 times out of 10 they come from the same sources. Before you point fingers, make sure your hands are clean !;)0

Thumbs up for Matalan towels, bought bath sheets in their sale for £3 each, they are washed every other day & are still soft & fluffy.
Haven't tried Primark, but I need some new hand towels for the kitchen so will give them a go when next passing.
I have towels that are 23 yrs old!!!! they were a wedding present from Debenhams & are only just now being relegated to towels for the dog!!!
Can anyone beat that??
Guess they will!!!!!2011, this will be my year .0 -
I bought some navy bath towels from Dunelm Mill in 2004, my cousin told me they were as good as JL ones. They are in terms of absorbency, washing and the fact that they still look pretty much as good as they did back then. BUT I find it very irritating that after 4 years of them being washed every week they still shed fibres/dust everywhere which causes our all white bathroom to look such a mess very quickly after a good clean. :-(0

I've washed some again - still pleased with them. In fact I've bought more.
Steve_xx - Cutting the labels out is pure snobbery on my part.

hey Pj - if your new primark towels were to replace old JL ones, you could even cut out the labels from the old ones and sew into the new... Hm though that might be taking it a step too far...0

Dont you find even after a few washes you get little bits of fluff attaching themselves to you after a shower etc ?:mad:0 -
3 months on and I'm pleased to report that I've actually bought more of these towels today.
