Repairman dented tumble drier

Options
Hi, sorry if this is in the wrong place. Repairman came out this morning. £27 labour £5 for part to fix washing machine. The tumble drier has been maing a grinding noise and the fan needs a new bit, another £27 labour and about £10 for part next week when it's in. Tumble drier is only 18 months old. When he was testing it he used a hammer handle to stop the drum and it dented it quite badly inside. He pushed it out but the drum is still bumpy and dented inside. I am assuming it wont affect the machine but I am not sure whether to phone the shop and complain. Any thoughts?

Just one of those things, it will not affect your machine, which you will keep till it dies.

I wouldn't bother doing anything, I would have said to him at the time "That was a daft thing to do why didn't you just use your hand?"

Up to you if you phone the shop, but I wouldn't go fishing for any compensation.

Surprised a tumble drier drum can be moving so fast! Ours goes really slowly.
