I have put £80 into my holiday savings account, and also recorded some spends on the coversheets I've made up in my financial folders.
Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!

    • discovered income tax change means I got £13 back from the taxman

Dinx, hope your mouth ulcers get better soon, they sound really painful. I used to suffer with ulcers a lot but luckily haven't had one for years now.

    Evening all,

I can't believe the time! Apart from my run in this evening after work with a cheeky ar*ehole taxi driver (pardon my french) who accused my of jumping the queue for petrol and giving me cheek when my psychic abilities didn't tell me that when he parks behind another car to my left I've jumped the queue when the car in front of me moves forward and I move into that space.

Anyway got my overpriced petrol incase the petrol strike lasts for longer than the 2 days. At least it was £1.05/ltr and not £1.17/ltr BP garage had put their up to. I still didn't get a full tank though as a full tank = extra weight
    • charged mobile at work
    • submitted request to put aside £20 to buy shares at work over a 3 year period
    • got a £1 money off coupon off my mum
    • packaged 2 Ebay items
    • received a cheque in the post for payment I had been chasing for 5 weeks (already reported payment unpaid on Monday but I did warn them last Wednesday if payment was not received by last Friday  )
That's all I can think of.
    Tesco points: 101 (£21.50, £19.50, £7.50, £21 & £5)
    Boots points: £0.28
    Pigsback points: 715 (4 xBoots£10 & 1 xPizzaHut£10, 2 x £10 clothing vouchers)

I ate leftovers for dinner at work, instead of getting carry out with everyone else - very proud!
Thanks for the advice Martin! :money:
