My gran died when I was heavily pregnant - to her funeral I just wore my nicest maternity top (cream with a black pattern on) and some black trousers. I didn't feel like I was being disrespectful, and other people were much more bothered that I was coping with the day okay than wondering why I wasn't dressed in formal funeral clothes. Providing your maternity wardrobe doesn't consist of under-bump jeans and over-bump cropped tops, I really wouldn't buy something special."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250

LilacPixie sorry to hear about your Aunt. Could you borrow something to wear from a friend ?Nothing is so fatiguing as the eternal hanging on of an uncompleted task. William James0

What size are you normally hun? Are you tiny wee with a bump? Or bigger all over, no plus size friends who could lend you something???
if you really can't afford it, then i would be tempted not to spend... just borrow something.
I'll lend you something of mine, but i think it would swamp you!I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -

afternoon all!
Fab to see you back Lucy!
Managed to do my first assignment last night, didn't take long but it was only 500-700 words. Just need to reference it and print it out for Monday.
I'm just looking at the bon prix website too.........far too many nice things. I will NOT buy new stuff for the summer, I will lose weight and use what I already have!!

i was looking on that bon prix website too, well cheap and i too tend to have to buy bigger tops to stuff my ample bosom in too.
they don't take solo though, or it doesn't mention that they do.
if you are wanting to pay by cheque do you just write your order on a bit of paper?
sorry i'm a bit thick, never done mail order before.
on other news i have contact info reference me wanting to volunteer at the hospital .yay..............now i have to get them to answer the ruddy phone0 -
ooh, volunteering at the hospital ? Go for it! There are lots of things you can do - help at the bedside, or with meals. There will probably be a patients library that is staffed by volunteers and if you fancy being involved with fundraising, the department will more than likely have a shop or something similar with volunteers helping in there.
