Short term saving advice for newbie money saver!!

We are hoping to exchange on our house next week. We'll have a small bit of cash - about £10k... which we will want to use as deposit on next house, when we find one (currently renting). Does anyone have any advice on the best place to stash the cash? We want to get as much interest as poss, but would need to have relatively easy access the cash... all suggestions gratefully received!!

Check out the best rates on https://www.moneyfacts.co.uk. Just make sure you pick a provider who has already reduced their rates following last month's BOE base rate reduction.

If you want a recommendation from personal experience, I'm very happy with my ING account.
