Selling my house, would appreciate comments!

Yes, that kitchen is a mood killer pic.
And the garden pics don't do it any favours either.
I wanted to see the conservatory, then realised it sounded more like a lean to utility room than an actual conservatory.
And no pics of the bedrooms is a bit offputting. I'd want to know now if the rooms are all barbie pink or decorated in spaceship wallpaper before I got there as I really wouldn't fancy buying a house and having to strip wallpaper and paint the walls plain.
As for competition, I fancy looking at this 4-bed detached, rather than your 3-bed semi, at just £1k more: http://www.rightmove.co.uk/viewdetails-15958123.rsp?pa_n=3&tr_t=buy
Good luck!0 -
Hi There,
I bought a new house some months back after selling my earlier house. The entire conveyancing process was handled by http://www.convex.net. This is the first time that the conveyancing process has been stress free. The entire process took place without a hitch. :beer:0 -

thanks for pointing out the spamers. It's such a shame that this site is used by these people. I'm a MSE newbie but honestly not a spammer!
It would be handy to know how to report them as I tried a couple of times but was unsuccessful, and also where do you get the spam logo from.:T0 -

4 good size bedrooms though, they maybe different quality of areas/plots - but if people have two kids, 3 decent bedrooms + spare would carry much weight especially if they are fighty-bitey-nasty-hate each other kiddies.... or you work at home / have visitors a lot.... but a lot of people will think if the 4-bed is this the 3-bed should be less.... 4 bed doesn't look much bigger downstairs but no need to decorate (I just don't like yellow) immediately....0 -
Err....okay, thanks for the heads up people. The colour in the kitchen was there when we moved in, I've hated it for a long time, but not done anything about it, so that's easily fixed, as is the floor too.
The conservatory is a utility room it's not a leisure room, the previous owners had planning permission for a two storey extension, but decided to go for the conservatory instead.
I love yellow, sorry peeps, I know it's a sign that you could be going mad, but I think it's fab - not willing to depersonalise that much just yet.
The other house for a little more has been on the market for a while, it's in a very crammed housing estate which is probably why it is still around.
Actually in writing about this, I've realised we should probably try and capitalise on the fact that we are within spitting distance of open countryside with fabulous walks.
Thank you, will keep you posted :-) Anybody else our there selling the very best of luck, it is a dreadful time.
Kind regards
