  • I didn't receive mine either. I received a letter stating that it was out of stock, even though I had initially received an e-mail confirmation of my order.

The only good thing to come out of that was that I'd ordered some baby turtleneck tops as well for around £6, using a discount code, so I got that free. But I still lost out on about £4 worth of FREE stuff, as I was supposed to get £10 off discount.

Hmmm.. maybe I should contact them and get some of it back, with any future orders!

I had two seperate orders for 3 pairs of jeans (6 in total) They cancelled both my orders, then sent me one pair with an invoice for £33!

I gave up using La Redoute as they kept doing that to us. Several times we ordered 'bargains' using discounts they offered us via emails or post. They wouldn't arrive. We would email to ask where they were. They would then say they were out of stock. Oh and the orginal discount offer would have run out by then.

Then we would be given another offer.

    etc etc etc

p.s. we is my daughter doing the buying (or not as the case may be) with me supposedly doing the paying (or not etc)
I live in my own little world. But it's okay. They know me here.

I noticed that the last mailshot was on their furniture range (strong French accent) and the freebie on an order of minimum £50 was six coloured glasses, of the sort that you could probably get in Poundstretcher for a couple of quid.

I did wonder how much longer they could service the fantastic free items they were using to bribe new account holders with. I got free luggage and a mini-cooker for a total spend of less than £50 - there has to be something amiss there.

I bet they've had an accountant in!
    :D I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe :D
