Remove vocal from music???

Hey everyone,

I was wondering is there a way to remove vocals from a piece of music? (which program etc.)

I wanted to remove the narrators voice off a piece of music I heard on TV

I'm afraid there is no way off doing this without distorting the original sample.

I suggest just finding the name of the track itself - easier said than done though.

Try searching for the TV program and associated music on google - has worked for me in the past!

There's no guaranteed way to do it perfectly, but the Audacity site has a few suggestions as to how you might try:

(I have never tried this myself, though, and I would have thought it optimistic to think that you could get rid of them completely, but...)
