PHI unemployment only, or Antinsurance ASU cover??

Hi - help! I am looking for some insurance against potential redundancy - looks like my company might be a bit rocky at the end of the year, and I'm concerned incase I'm pregnant at that point and therefore unable to get another job...
I'm confused as to the different benefits of unemployment only PHI vs ASU policys such as Antinsurance.
Can anyone offer any advice?
Thanks!

ASU and PPI etc
have an exclusion that if you know of a potential redundancy situation you will not be covered
finding insurance to cover you at this stage will be difficult if not immpossible0 -
PHI and "U" only cover is better typically than ASU. Another way of doing it is to do an ASU policy with a PHI policy that has a 12 month deferment.
Personally, I would prioritise PHI (and an unemployment only plan) over an ASU policy.
As johnhy says, if you are aware of any redundancies that may occur then its too late to take one out.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). Being aware and suspecting is 2 different things.
I suspect that a lot of the estate agency staff could see redundancies in the next 12 months, yet actually being made aware that you are being made redundant is a different thing.
Dunston correctly states that you may get better cover by combining the 2.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
