a quicker way to find martin's comments?

Just reading the blog about the 49p TV thing and Martin says "read my comments here" but the thread is enormous!

Is there anyway of linking direct to a specific post rather than a complete thread?

I just pop in now and then.... :)

Linking to a post rather than a thread:
    • Click on the number at the top-right of the post (e.g. this post has #2 at the top-right)
    • Copy the 6 digit number near the end of that post's url. This is the Post Number
    • The following will make a link to that post
    [ post=123456]Click here[/post] (with no spaces)

where you replace 123456 with 6 digit post number

    makes this link: [post=123456]Click here[/post]
Making a link that can be followed from a normal webpage

    Use this link:
    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?p=123456#post123456

Just replace the 123456 with the post number

Think i'll do a guide with pics later

Often asked but explaining it makes it sound more complicated than it is

Thanks sra, if it's easy to do perhaps it could be used as otherwise you have to traipse through pages and pages to find the relevant post.....

In the end I just found Martin's profile and clicked the "find all posts" BUT if it had been quite an old post would still have taken a while to find.

I just pop in now and then.... :)
