Recordable DVD +, -, rw???

Hi there,

I got a Sony Camcorder that records onto small dvd's.

I taped my friends wedding for them on a +RW which I can view on my DVD player but they can't.

Can anyone tell me:
Can +RW be recorded onto a - DVD & vice versa?

Can they be burned onto computer and then put onto a - DVD??

In fact any advice on the whole +,- R, RW caper, would be welcomed.

Many thanks

Yes, you can copy from a + to - using any burning software, just use the copy whole disc option.

-R is the safest bet for compatibility tbh
nero also gives an option to burn +R as dvd rom which helps again
just do a straight disc to disc copy to a -R
