Im looking to get a wooden floor for a 20m2 room, what do you think a reasonable cost to do this would be? can anyone possibly recommend any one who is good (and cheap) around the warrington area?
Thank you!
Thank you!

There are a great number of different wooden floors and prices to go with it, the last one I fitted was from Jewsons and cost £25 per square metre which was pretty good stuff, there are cheaper but as usual you get what you pay for. Any capable DIYer can fit them, they really are not that difficult.0

Labour wise, if it's laminate, its around the £10 per sq mtr. If it's solid wood then between about £16 and £20 psm.

We had our downstairs done in real oak boarding about 18 months ago. It cost £24 sq m to buy including glue and all the bits and the lad who laid it (recommended by the supplier) cost £250 a day for 3 days. We had about 80 sq m done in total so I would reckon for 1/4 of that you should budget for around £650 all in. Mind you, everyone still says that they like our new laminate flooring! Drives us potty.0

Try some specialist flooring suppliers - better range than Wickes, good advice and better prices. My flooring subby charges £20 / m2 to lay it.Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0
