I got all new tesco clubcards today why???

aaaahhh mystery solved :j i got some as well, i didnt know why i had been sent them, so put them in a drawer, just in time as the key fob has snapped off my keys.

I used my new Tesco card today for the first time and none of my coupons worked. I had a few Tesco extra-points ones, and I had clearly purchased the items, plus 3 internet ones on items that I didn't buy. They wouldn't take any of them. There was a "free bag for life" coupon, so I picked up a bag for life and wound up paying for it. There was even a Tesco win-a-holiday one that doesn't require a purchase. That was rejected. All were in date. I wanted to go over to customer service and try to sort it out, but I was in a hurry, and there was a long queue.

£50 of groceries - no savings. I'm very annoyed. Going back to Sainsbury's.

hi, like everyone else i got my new clubcard and key fobs this week. i used my new card yesterday and when i checked my reciept all my old points were on it aswell so it seems tesco have automatically transfered them.
i also have it linked with my powergen electric account and when i logged into this online that also said i would'nt need to do anything as it was changed automatically.

I don't think it's anything to do with your new clubcard. Coupons (points or money-off) won't scan until the SA has totalled your bill.

If the till beeps for each coupon and none of them scan, you just need to ask the SA to press 'total' on the till. Even if they say they have already, sometimes they have only subtotalled and need a nudge to actually total the bill.

Sometimes some staff seem to do this deliberately - if so I just insist that it must be a 'till error' and could they please try pressing total - or could they put their light on to call a Supervisor. Usually they will sigh and press total, but if they call a Supervisor that's fine by me as well because I am only following T policy.

I know they dont match the old clubcard numbers, but mine don't even match the clubcard number at the bottom of the till receipt - does anyone else have this problem?
