Parking Ticket

:mad: Normally Happy Hammer today unhappy Hammer, got a parking ticket yesterday (Camden Council), my pay & display ticket had expired by 4 minutes, the parasite warden had been waiting by car. I thought they were meant to give you 5 minutes grace Does anyone know if this is correct?. The annoying thing was the parking meter and my watch were a couple of minutes different, but wardens are not interested. Is this the best place for this thread or is there a more suitable notice board?.

Practice is they're not supposed to hang around waiting, although I doubt you would be able to appeal on this basis.

The ticket expired. There is no right to a leeway and any given is done on a council by council basis.0
