Not sure BFG because I'm on dial-up. But I've been getting the 'problem with database' message telling me that the problem's been e-mailed to admin (I can't remember the actual wording - sorry).

Sorry ruiner99, but loving the site hasn't got anything to do with the site having the odd glitch now and then.

BFG? There's usually a post from admin when it goes a bit iffy ... maybe not many people are experiencing the same problem?

Hey peeps its a tad slow, a lot of users, dont forget every hour on the hour
it slows down for about a minute as I think the servers reset/refresh themselve's
and Martin does know about this.

We have been mentioned in The Times and The Guardian this week (the Tesco roast beef thing) so we may have gained a lot of new visitors. The atrocious response times tonight will probably drive them away so things should be back to normal soon!

I do get the message re email been sent to Techies etc occasionally but the site seems to be running pretty good.

The beef offer is still on, till 6th September isn't it. If you can't get the beef one at 65p, next cheapest is the chicken one at £1. I got some the other day.
