Egg Money is a "hybrid" card - can act as a Credit Card or a Debit Card.

If you are in debt on the card then it is very much like a normal Credit Card. However it allows you to pre-load it with a positive balance. Then you can use it like a Debit Card, in this instance making Cash Withdrawals would not accrue interest as you are not actually borrowing any money.

It could be me but has OP got an Egg money card or an Egg credit card?

If it's a plain old Egg credit card (visa) then the charges would be correct.
It is only Egg money that do not charge for cash advances.
