Applying over the phone (Virgin)

I'm going to apply for a Virgin CC (either 6.7% LOB or 0% 3 months) and have just hit a possible stumbling block.
Having been through the online application process, I've recognised where they'll turn me down - in putting myself down as a student because I don't work full-time. Instead I work part-time (usually putting in near full-time hours) and work full-time through summers and other holidays. It means my annual income, though not set, averages out at about £7,000 plus student loan and maintenance grant totalling it at ~£10,000. This could even increase from September onwards. Of course the form has no way of me detailing this.
If I phone them up, will they be able to scribe all of this and then consider my application with this information to boot?

I don't agree with this - I would say that you could use the student loan as income, what else would it be classed as ?
If in doubt call them up and ask, then take a note of the person you spoke to with the appropriate date and time of the call so that you have come back if necessary.0 -
where does this 6.7% LOB come from? I can't see anything about it on their website?
Also, I can't see how you can class a student loan as income either, you're borrowing, not earning it?Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 784 - Proud to be dealing with my debts0 -

Yes it is a borrowing, but you don't need to make any repayments while you are a student, and it is actually income to the student, in some cases it is the student's only income.
Because the repayments are deferred until you have substantial alternative income, it is very different to other types of borrowing.0 -
