NPB Dispute

How soon after an auction ends can I start a non paying bidder dispute?
Someone with 0 feedback from the US bid on my item despite it being marked UK only and I've got a feeling that she's not too happy with the postage costs and I'll never hear from her again.

Its usually up to 7 days http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/tp/unpaid-item-process.htmlI live in my own little world. But it's okay. They know me here.0

Thank you both very much, just one more question; why is a mutual not a good idea?0
-
yes +1 why mutual not a good idea?
If you have an idiot not paying and you don't want to get into the blame game?0 -
when you do a mutual it is the buyer who decides whether you get your fvf back or not
if they choose the wrong option you won't get your fvf back0 -
I just want to echo pingem, never ever do a mutual.
A full NPB which can be started on day 7 means that even if th ebuyer responds you can still close the dispute and get your FVFs back and give the buyer an NPB strike. A mutual sends the buyer an email asking them to tick certain boxes, only one of which means the dispute closes with the seller getting their FVfs back. If a buyer buys accidentally or changes their mind, why would anyone trust them to recover the sellers FVFs?
Trudiha, if you set your seller preferences properly in future you won't get bidders from countries outside your shipping area and you won't have this type of problem.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. So how do you avoid a neg when you dump a NPB on them?
Thanks0 -

If the buyer does not respond to the nPB then they can't leave any feedback.
If you are pondering the idea of doing a mutual to avoid a neg, don't bother as buyers can still leave a neg even after a mutual and one of my current Non payers has 2 negs from sellers complaining that they were negged only after agreeing to a mutual with the buyer. Anyway, I prefer to get my money back rather than worry about a neg.
The best way of avoiding bad buyers and the subsequent negatives is to get them banned from ebay, and to do that you need to give them an NPB strike.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
