Ford warranty versus others

Hi, I have just bought a used Ford Mondeo and would like help with chosing the warranty as Arnold Clark just give one month warranty when you buy the car.
Does anyone have any suggestions which warranty is best to buy Ford or others e.g. warranty direct ?thanks

    I understand they can be a waste of money but as I have bought a used car I need to have some kind of warranty as if anything is wrong with it I don't want to fork out a lot of money......:confused:

    How about some details of the car. Year etc..

    I know alot of people that have saved quite a bit with warranty deals - but don't know enough about them to recommend any :o

    If nothing goes wrong, I can see how some would consider them 'a waste of money'. Bit of a lottery really!
