just wanted to say than tothe advice given here to 'haggle' with dell over the phone instead of the internet, i saved myself a few quid. bought inspiron 1720 (bigger screen for my dodgy eyesight lol), & got a lovely spring colour & 15mth mcafee virus software thrown in for the initial price of £429. thus saving £40, which i was pretty chuffed about. Also as advised to go thru the saynoto0870 website to contact dell i 'hopefully' saved on calls. thanx to all who gave advice.
