Reinforced baths - better?

Hi, just wanted some advice - I'm buying a bath (1700 by 700) and am quite restricted with my budget - I plan to buy a Trojan Cascade 5mm acrylic bath but have seen that they also have a Trojancast version - supposedly has the properties of steel and much stronger. Does it really make a lot of difference? The bath will be used for showering as well so want it to be decent quality. I'm assuming it should be equivalent or better to B&Q etc but haven't seen the bath in real life.

Good evening: If you're concerned about durability and cost, you can get a 1700 x 700 steel bath for less than £100 from plumbers' merchants, Bathstore etc...unless you have a preference for acrylic;) We had a discussion about steel vs. acrylic baths last summer

Steel baths are better as they don't move which is important to avoid water seeping down the sides, which is a problem with acrypic baths when they are not masticed properly. You don't get the flex on steel. TH only down side is that if you drop something heavy on a steel bath it is likely to chip the enamel, but this won't occur on an acrylic bath.Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0
