Summer work in America: Southwestern Co

Has anyone got any experience of working for this company? My daughter has been accepted by them for this Summer. I would welcome any opinions good or bad.

Can your daughter sell encyclopaedias door to door and make enough money to live?

You know her, you'll know the answer to the question.

I couldn't have done it then. Probably still couldn't 17 years later.

Best of luck to her, hope she has a good time.
  • How much money can you make?
The amount of money you make depends directly on your sales results. They money doesn't "come easy" either -- the most successful students work 72+ hours every single week of the summer. Does it work? In 2006, the average first-time participant made $7,944 for their 3 month summer.
