Replacing Bath and Toilet

Heylo :)

Just a quick question.

Does anyone know roughly how long it takes to replace a bath and toilet? I have a leak underneath my current bath which is more serious than the plumber first thought so he said I will most likely need my bath and toilet replacing.

I was just wondering roughly how long it takes. :)

Thanks.

xx

  • As long as the new bath and toilet are in the same place as the old ones, a half decent plumber should do it in less than a day including tiling and sealing.

If it is straight out and straight in with a new one allow between 1 and 2 days. 2 Days will allow for any problems, resiting wastes etc.

Guess that means I won't be going to the toilet for a day. :rotfl:

No. Plumbers will always make sure you have a toilet in and out in a day.

If it helps, i did a like for like swap on bath, toilet and basin all in one very long day, and i'm the biggest (i don't mean fat) amateur ever! this didn't include tiling or sealing though. I did the sealing the next day and got a pro to do tiling.

    p.s. i am fat really :-)
