Barclaycard Inital reffered, rang up want a bill or statement???

Hi guys, i applyed last night for a BarclayCard inital.
Rang them up today, wanted to see if i got rejected!
So they pull up a letter they have sent me and they want a statement or something to prove my address from the last three months.

Is this Standard for people like me with no credit History, or are they just mucking me around and are going to reject me anyway?

are you on the electoral roll?... maybe they can't link you to that address.

So what could it be? Do they wishto check my address? Surely they wouldn't do this if they wanted to decline me?

Just send them proof of your address, like a bank statement or utility bill. It's quite common practice to be honest. Once they receive that, I would expect them to give you a credit card.

I have a Barclay Card Inital, and I did not have to show anything I did it online acutally! I was a Barclays Customer before though!

Hi guys, an update, i have now rung them up again to check, now there saying it's pending :S... So from them sending me a letter to not havign a decision :S....
