We can make Leeds cheap, I'm sure! I'll bring my tent and we can crash on Snags front lawn, I'm sure she won't mind, lol

well the boss in job no2 has told me that i am now down to 13.5 hours a week with a loss of £120 a month in wages ...now theres a bit of me that says no !!!!!!! way as her friends have been given jobs but the other bit of me says thats perfect it lets me get a bit more life and let's me get used to the less wages ...

hubby is not feeling too good at all his back is really sore and he has started having nightmares .... i think his is because he has a bad back to begin with he has been getting pains shooting from his neck down his left arm and has lost control of his right leg a few times now but he is trying to get a wee bit of excercise done we went to swimming tonight for an hour just taking it easy (i kept an eye on him)

other than that i have bought three half grown strawberry plants and planted them in the kid on green house so we will have some strawbs for summer yippee

Bloody cheek of your boss, does she have the right to change your contract like that?

I hope he feels better soon, it doesn't sound very pleasant ..the nightmare bit. Anything docs can give him?

I have a few strawberries planted too. I am eagerly waiting for them, as there are a few on there now.

i just hope mine are planted right lol ...ahh well we will see soon enough....

hubby has the drs on friday so i hope he will get something then (if he does tell him that is)

the problem with our contracts is we dont have any.... they ran out in march and we dont have the funding for any more so just now she can do whatever she chooses ...thing is i agreed to do the saturday just till march ...but march came and there was no-one to take over so i said i would carry on till june no later and was thanked profusely and told not to worry i would get my 18 hours for through the week as it was the least they could do as i had helped them for so long.... so now were hitting june and she cant give me my shifts as she has emplyed a friend (who incidently cant drive and that is part of the job) ...as i say looking on the positive side i want to give it up this way i get to get used to the less wages so that is something ...i am happy just not happy at the way it happened if you know what i mean

Yes, it is a pain being "told" that your hours are going down, but as you had already decided to reduce, just keep telling yourself that it is YOUR decision, not THEIRS, so yah boo sucks to them anyway.......

I really hope OH is on the mend soon. ((((hugs)))) to him (and to you as well, of course!)

    xx

How long have you worked there? I don't know much about employment law but don't you gain automatic rights after a certain time regardless of contracts? Might have got that wrong but I know they are always edgy at our place when temporary contract people are in post around 4 years as they gain more rights.

Anyway just a thought. You want to go anyway - but she has no right to mess you around like this.
