Hi All,
After a little advise, i currently have AXA investment bonds, £60,000 invested as follows
Property - 28%Europe - 13%Global Distribution - 12%UK Opportunities - 12%Active Protector 70 - 35%
I have an income from the fund of £200.00 a month.
I need to cash in £20k for home improvements and wondered which fund should be cashed or should i keep the same percentages ?? I want to ensure the funds are future proof and make sure they don't depreciate to much from the monthly income....
Thank You

It would be difficult not to reduce the monthly income significantly, you're reducing the fund value by a third.0

The UK Opportunities is likely to be the highest Growth component and therefor the lowest Income part of the investment pool. Can't you find out which produces the lowest income?0

Assuming you had a plan for income versus growth originally, the only way for anyone here to advise you is to keep it all the same. i.e sell the same percentage of each, else you risk skewing those plans.
Maybe worth consulting the advisor you asked in the first place though.
£60K producing an annual income of £2.4K is 4% is this as planned? If it takes a man a week to walk to walk a fortnight how long does it take a fly with tackity boots on to walk through a barrel of treacle?0
