Well as someone who worked for Sony Labs in Cheltenam, we had to ditch all polishing pastes with amonia as ultimately it damaged the disks.
I think youve been lucky, Or Sony were lying to us.0 -
Well when you have a scratched CD that you can't repair with your non abrasive & no ammonia based polishes don't throw it out send it to me....you never know we may share the same taste in music!0

Well when youv'e finished with your P1200 or Superfine wet and dry
3M is the best make, P1200 = Grit particles Per linear inch, I shall
use it on my car with some dove soap, more lanolin, and then use it
with my lambswool mop or sponge mop with my Farecla G3 compound.
