Well we didnt hear anything so we chased the EA only to be told that the mortgage company will reply with a decision in 5-10 days
We of course exploded and were then told that we should know something this Friday.Wish us luck Im not sure our nerves will hold until Friday especially with Martin telling FTB`s on Radio One to rent not buy (panic).0

Ken Clarke was saying the same today on the Daily Politics "First time buyers don't buy but rent. At least for the next 12 months."
Its wise stuff, any first time buyers jumping on will be burnt, just wait, prices are plumetting.
As for shared ownership, thats just a finacial vehicle to keep house prices artificially high. Stay away with a barge poll especially in a falling market. Even the government report on shared ownership had shown it failed. Why do you think they have change the stamp duty conditions and now cash handouts.:exclamatiScams - Shared Equity, Shared Ownership, Newbuy, Firstbuy and Help to Buy.

So the EA said '5-10 days' and then 'by Friday' all in the same phone call? Sounds like he was just trying to calm you down after your explosion.0
