Halifax One life of balance transfer offer

I have the above the card. Through the post I was offered a 6.95% rate to switch balances from other cards, for the life of the balances. I have over £9,000 available on the Halifax card, enough to cover any balances I might switch. I don't have this amount of available credit on any of my other credit cards?
I know I'll have to pay 3% balance transfer fees, but apart from this is the deal a good one for a life of balance transfer? Could I haggle with them to try and get a better rate?!
And how does it work? Do I set my own monthly repayment amount and simply continue until it's all paid off?

whether its a good deal depends upon what the interest rates you are paying on your your current cards and how long it will take to pay them off.

you will have to make a minimum payment each month just like any other CC (probably around 3% ... you can of course pay more.

Of course do not spend on it.
